ADHD Medications - Are They Killing You?

!±8± ADHD Medications - Are They Killing You?

What kind of medication for ADHD is killed? I have sparked your interest? I hope so. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD at an early age and the doctor prescribed Ritalin. ADHD drugs killed her personality, her spirit and over-all well being.

Some of the ADHD drugs Adderall is given, Concerta, DAYTRANA, Focalin, Metadate, Methylin, Ritalin and Vyvanse.

These ADHD medications do not cure ADHD, but only control the symptoms, how to use it. Doctor saysThese drugs dramatically reduce the hyperactivity ADHD, improves the ability to concentrate and learn. Well, I beg to differ, my daughter was a complete zombie and his grades were C is better. The doctor tried another drug, which is worse.

Instead of ADHD medications to control symptoms, why not discover the cause of ADHD, and work on the solution. Sometimes the solution is too difficult because there is an immediate result, or the solution requires a lotExtreme discipline and effort.

And if the solution for ADHD is simply a reaction to some of the foods we eat or drink? The diet may play a role in ADHD?

I took my daughter on any medication for a year and I am very glad I did. He gained some weight after taking off his medication. Your colorful personality was again slow, but it was still struggling with their grades in school.

It was not until I met a chiropractorthat was also a Kinesiologist that things started to change dramatically. He said that my daughter was suffering from food allergies that were the cause of her ADHD. She is allergic to gluten, cow's milk, wheat and certain dairy products. My daughter has been drinking enhanced Rice Dream milk with vitamin A & D and avoiding gluten products ever since this discovery.

This story has a happy ending, my daughter is going into her senior year of high school and she is in the top 14% of her class.

Just remember ADHD medications are drugs and it is foreign for our bodies to use. The side effects sometimes are not worth the chance. Make the effort to seek out all the natural solutions for all diseases especially the ones that affect our children.

Making Chicken Enchiladas With White Sauce in the Crockpot

!±8± Making Chicken Enchiladas With White Sauce in the Crockpot

We are a family that loves chicken enchiladas. We have a lot of fun with our crockpot a couple of times a week.

I decided to try our family recipe in the crockpot and it was wonderful! I started with five chicken breast. Since I buy the meat is cooked chicken breasts with skin and bones. I think if I come there to buy the breast without skin to dry.

Bring water to bring the boil and then simmer for about 45 minutes. Chicken should be cooked. I agree the chicken cool about fifteenMinutes and then they break. Many recipes suggest a preference for cut in pieces, we cut up the chicken.

Now is the time to create the sauce. The sauce should have two cans of cream of chicken soup. I'm happy for the low-sodium broth, if I buy it. If you regularly buy cream of chicken, that's fine, but the sauce is slightly salty taste. If your palate is used with salt, so you can find lower sodium a bit 'too bland for your tastes. Next is eight ounces sour cream. I use fat freeSour cream. There is a difference between the taste regular sour cream, sour cream and low-fat sour cream is not. Find the right combination of flavors for your family in the choice of soup and sour cream. Finally, you need a 4 ounces of diced red pepper. Try, more or less chillies depending on how hot your family likes to bowl.

If you want a sauce that is slightly thinner, add a little 'milk. Since we only drink milk without fat, I tend not to add it in. If you have a family, the drinks are lowFat or regular milk, you can add the third can of soup and milk to help thin the sauce a little. '

Mix sauce ingredients come together in a bowl. Dip moistened one or two tortillas with salsa. These are tortillas that will be used on top of casserole.

Next, add the chicken and mix well. Now is the time to put everything in your crockpot. I buy whole wheat tortillas mission. My crockpot that I use for this dish is six liters. At the end of the linethe crockpot I needed one and a half tortillas. Cover the bottom of your crockpot with the tortillas. Now add one third of your chicken. Lightly cover the chicken with a handful of shredded cheese. You can use cheddar or a combination of jack and cheddar cheeses. Repeat your layers two more times. I end with those dipped tortillas on the top. I put one more layer of cheese on top and it's ready to turn on. I put the crockpot on low for four hours.

Another alteration you can make is to tear the tortillas into strips, making it easier to cut when it's time to serve up the enchiladas.

When you serve the enchiladas, put a small spoon of sour cream, olives and/or a slice of avocado on top.

This is a dish that my entire family enjoys.

Appetizers sandwich and finger food ideas

!±8± Appetizers sandwich and finger food ideas

Serving sandwich appetizers and finger foods is an easy, convenient way to present food at any gathering. Almost any sandwich can be made into a finger sandwich, but there are a few reliable standbys that most everyone enjoys. Making a large quantity of little sandwiches can be simplified with proper planning.

Finger rolls are often used at gatherings. They are larger than the average tea sandwich and can be stuffed ahead or placed whole in a basked or on a tray beside a meat and Cheese plate for mounting for guests who choose to. Common fillings include cheese, ham, roast beef and cheese, turkey, cheese, salad or egg salad, ham salad, chicken salad or tuna salad. Vegetables such as tomatoes, lettuce, onions and cucumber sandwiches, or brought to the designed sandwich on a plate next to the tray. If young people are present, some farmers even peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, as well as the biggest decisions.

Tea Sandwichesgenerally made with white or wheat bread and can contain the same ingredients as finger sandwiches. The edges are neatly cut off and the sandwiches are cut into fourths either diagonally to create triangles or crosswise to form squares. Using a two-inch cookie cutter on the bread can create sandwiches in fancy shapes like flowers or hearts. Another popular choice for tea sandwiches is the cucumber sandwich, which contains thinly sliced cucumbers and an herb spread of cream cheese, dill, garlic and chives.

Other bread options are mini bagels, flour tortillas or lavash. Mini bagels should be piled high with meat and cheese or salads to ensure the flavor of the fillings are not overpowered by the thick, dense bread. Tortillas and lavash are rolled to encase the fillings and then cut into pieces about one to two inches wide. For gatherings around the holidays, spread cream cheese over the tortilla or lavash and then top it with a spoonful of whole berry cranberry sauce, slices of turkey, and a generous amount of stuffing to make flavorful seasonal starters.

Setting food on the table is easier when appropriate preparations are made in advance. Mixing moist salads a day ahead and leaving them in the refrigerator overnight not only reduces the amount of work that needs to be done on the day of the event, but also allows the flavors time to marry. Spreading a thin layer of butter or cream cheese on both sides of the bread or rolls will keep absorption to a minimum, and as such will help to prevent soggy bread. Cutting vegetables ahead of time will also aid in the assembly or table layout process. With proper preparation and the right choices in sandwiches, the food at the gathering is sure to be a great success.
